MINUTES
Kelly Malloy, Director of Strategic Services, called the meeting to order at 6:01 pm.
Commissioner Miller led the flag salute.

The Senior Administrative Assistant declared the public participation section of the
meeting open at 6:02 pm.
There being no written or verbal comments, the public participation section was
closed.
APPROVAL OF THE APRIL 10, 2018 COMMISSION MEETING MINUTES
There was a typographical error that was corrected.
M/S/C (Yauger-Miller) to approve the amended April 10, 2018 Commission
meeting minutes.
FISCAL YEAR 2018-19 BUDGET REVIEW
Ms. Malloy gave an overview of the District’s Fiscal Year 2018-19 goals and objectives
for each program including the District wide goals, program summaries, and current
year accomplishments.
Mr. Tompkins reviewed the revenue projections, water sales, meter charges,
treatment and system charges, operating budget summary, and miscellaneous charges
and revenue.

UPDATE ON STERLING NATURAL RESOURCE CENTER
Ms. Malloy provided an update on the current process and the status of the project;

that the LAFCO hearing is scheduled for June 20, 2018; and that District staff is working
on the plan to celebrate milestones as the project moves forward.

UPCOMING MEETING SCHEDULE
Ms. Malloy requested an additional Commission meeting be scheduled for June 5, 2018;
cancel the July 10, 2018 regularly scheduled meeting; and schedule a meeting for
August 14, 2018 at 6pm.
COMMISSIONER COMMENTS
Mr. Dondalski thanked staff for the invite to the North Fork Tour and that he really
enjoyed it.
Mr. Yauger stated that the information presented today was good stuff and inquired
about the Conservation messages and when they were going to pick back up.
Mr. Jaurigue stated that the information provided was great and was easy to follow.
Mr. Laster thanked staff for the presentation.
