GENERAL WATI~ The General Manager stated a test was run on the
DISCUSSION Leonard Well at 5th and Palm Streets in Highland
which at first registered 150 gallons per minute
then went up to 450 gallons per minute. $1,800,00
in main extensions are already in vie~ and more are
showin~ an interest.
GENEPu%L SEWER Engineer Hiller reported that the Colich Construction
DISCUS~ION Company has completed their,work and that Punkhouser
has also completed the Cypress project, both in good
shape.
Er~ineer Hiller also asked if any request had been
presented for sewer ib Lynwood and Arden as another
subdivision is seeking the information.
The Directors understood that the entire Arden area
had been marked for sewers as they would be required,
therefore Director Ltttleton moved and Director Wall
seconded a motion that Mr, Rickert be perm/tted to
con~ait the District to such an inquiry subject to
the engineers' recon~nendation. The motion carried
unanimously.

MINUTES Upon indication that eac~ Board m~mher had read the minutes
of the March 38th, 1961 regular meeting and there were no
additions or corrections, the President declared the minutes
approved as ~ritten.
ANneXATION NO. 1960-8 The Seoretary presented the Petition of Annexation No.
GUSTAFSON - CARPENTER 1960-8 together with the Affidavit of Publication of Notice
STREET & PARK AVEh-~E of Hearing showing that the publication had been made as
required by law.
The President ~Announced that this was the time and place
set to hear all protests and consider all written or oral
objections to the proposed annexation.
The Secretary's Certificate was presented showing that
the petition is signed by all of the holders of title

RE~OLUTION NO. 338 Resolution No. 338, appointing the Wells Fargo Bank of
APPOINTING FI/~AL 5an Francisco, the Continental Illinois National Bank
AGENCIES FCR DIVISION & Trust Company of Chicago and the Chase Hanhattan Bank
II SEWER REVENUE BOND of New York as Fiscal Agencies for the Sewer Revenue
OF 1958. Bond of 1958 - Division II.
The Secretary reported that the buyers of the bonds
have the right to name the banks to serve as fiscal
agencies, so their requests, as above, were sent to
the District asking that tb~ above roamed hanks be
officially named the Fiscal Agencies.
MOTION Upon motion ky Director LeVesqUeo duly seconded by
Director Wall and carried unanimously by roll call
vote, the above named banks were appointed to serve
as Fiscal Agencies for the Sewer Revenue Bond 19§8 -
Division II, and Resolution No. 358 was adopted and
order mede.
AYES, and in favor thereof, Directors= Botts, Brooks,
LeVesque, Littleton and Wall.

RESOLUTION NO. 339 Resolu//on No. 339,.Certificate of Completion on Job
CERTIFICATE OF No. S-343, Sewer Collection System in Cypress Street,
OOMPLETION Jil~ NO. Cunnimgham Street to Palm Avenue, Contractor Elmer W.
S-343, CYPRESS ST. Funkhouser. Engineer Hiller reported they did a
good Job.
MOTION Upon motion by Director Littleton, duly seconded by
Director Brooks and carried unanimously, Resolution
No. 339 was adopted and order made.
RESOLUTION NO. 340 Certificate of Completion, signed by Associate Engineer,
FILING NO~ICE OF Cole, for the installation of water mains, fire hydrants
COMPLETION - 4th and services in Fourth Street - Cooley Street to
STREET BETWEEN ~ WatermAn Avenue, Contractor, Coughlin Company, was
CREEK AND WATH~MAN presented.

MOTION Upon motion by Director Wall, duly seconded by Director
ttleton and carried unanimously, the President and
Secretary were authori~.ed to execute Resolution No.
340, and file and record a 'Notice of Completion'.
R~I~T O~ SEW£R RATE The President called upon the Auditor-Treasurer for
STUDY - MULTIPLE his report on the sewer rate study for multiple units.
DWF. LLINGS There are 52 multiples instead of 40 as originally
fib/ired figured. Vacancies are a. matter of business
risk aD&i cannot be considered. The multiple people at
the meeting were still not satisfied with the reduction
given them. Tho vacancy factor w~s again brought
into the discussion and they were finally told that
the fine mew motels and apartments with all the added
attractions will always attract renters over older
and less desirable rentals. After much discussion
along tho s~-~ lines as before, the directors felt
it was time for the question.

The Secretary introduced Ordinance No. 156 entitled
An Ordinance Amending Ordinance No. 62 Relating to
Sewer Service Charges.'
MOTION Upon motion by Director Brooks, duly seconded by
Director Wall, and carried unanimously by roll call
vote, a hearing on said Ordinance is hereby called
for the 25th day of April, 1961 at the hour of 7:30
p.m. at the regular meeting place, and the Secretary
ordered to post said Notice of Hearing in three
