Mr. Webb stated he is a new resident in the district
and came because he is interested in the District and
its operation and policies.
Mr. Disch asked if it would be possible to give some
extension on sewer 6orLnection payments to those who are
out of work because of the recession. He asked for the
publication of a 60 or 90 day extension where necessary
because of uneuployment. It was explained to him that
publication was not feasible, but that individual oases
are always given consideration and acted upon if they
will but oome into the office and state their cases.
Mr. LeVesque arrived during this discussion at 7:35.
Mr. Brooks arrived during this discussion at 7:55.
MINUTE8 Upon indication that each Board member had read the
minutes of the February 14, 1961 regular meeting, and
there were no additions or corrections, the President
declared the m/nutes approved as written.
LEI'i'ER - The President read a letter from the San Bernardino

No action is necessary on this matter at this time as
the information was previously referred to Attorney
Dens low Green.
LETTER - ALLSTATE The president read a letter from the Allstate Insurance
INSURANCE COMR~NY Company of Skokie, Illinois, dated February 9.0, 1951,
ANNCUNCING PURCHASE OF stating they had again purchased our bonds, 4~ Sewer
230,000 4~ SEWER Revenue Bonds of 1958, Division No. 2 in the amount of
REVENUE BONDS OF 1958, $230,000.00.
No action was required, therefore none was taken.
AUTHORIZATION TO OPEN The General Manager stated that the Sewer Bond issue
NEW BAN~ ACCCUNT - requires a separate account for sewer construction fund.
SEWER CONSTRUCTION Mr. Bragg stated the funds for this account will come
FUND" DIVISION II. from the bonds and will definitely go for new construc-
tion. It is something which has been needed for some
time.
MOTION Upon motion b~ Director Littleton, duly seconded by
Director Wall and carried unanimously, authorization
was given the Auditor-Treasurer to establish a Sewer
Construction Fund Account.
FINANCIAL R~I~CRT The president called upon the Auditor-Treasurer to pre-
sent the Financial report for the month of January, 1961.
In giving Sewer information, 'it was stated that there
are 125 to connect where permits have been issued, 29-1
with no permits where we are serving water. In the
Highland Area 724 permits have been issued, 290 have not
taken out permits, and 139. out of 724 have connected.
Mr. Miller stated that all lines have been tested, all
wet lines and letter of notification will be sent at

LeVesque and carried unanimously, the warrants, as
listed, be approved.
