ance of the low bid of Robert Simon in the
amount of $2,587.90.
President Botts arrived at 7:35 p.m. and
assumed the Chairmanship of the meeting.
MOTION Upon motion by Director LeVesque, duly
seconded by Director Forrest, and carried
unanimously, the low bid of Contractor Robert
Simon in the amount of $2,587.90 was accepted
and order made subject to review of legal counsel,
and the President and Secretary authorized to
execute a Contract on behalf of the District.
MINUTES Upon indication that the minutes of the May
22, 1962 regular meeting had been read and
there were no additions or corrections, the
President declared the minutes approved as
written.
ANNEXATION 1961-4 The Secretary presented the Petition of Annexa-
HEARING - TRACT tion No. 1961-4 together with the Affidavit of

INC. the publication had been made as required by
law.
The President announced that this was the time
and place set to hear all protests and con-
sider all written or oral objections to the
proposed annexation.
The Secretary's Certificate was presented
showing that the petition is signed by all of
the holders of title to all of the acreage
of the lands proposed to be annexed.
There being no written or oral objections to
the proposed annexation, and discussion had
and evidence taken relating to the benefits
to the District and the territory proposed to
be annexed which would result from the annexa-
MOTION tion, it was moved by Director LeVesque,
duly seconded by Director Forrest and carried
unanimously that the hearing be closed.
ORDINANCE NO. 178 Ordinance No. 178, being Annexation No. 1961-4,
altering boundaries of the present District,
was presented to the Board.
MOTION Upon motion by Director Forrest, duly seconded
by Director LeVesque and carried unanimously
by roll call vote, Ordinance No. 178, "Alter-
ing Boundaries of the East San Bernardino
County Water District" was adopted and the Sec-
retary directed to post, in three public places
within the District, copies of the above
entitled ordinance.
AYES, and in favor thereof, Directors: Botts,
Disch, Forrest, LeVesque,
and Wall.
NOES, Directors: None.
ABSENT, Directors: None.
