The Annual ~eeting of the Stockholders of the North Fork Water Company was held this 31st day of Narch, 1967, at l0 o'clock A.~., at the office of the East ~ighlands Orange Company, at 7125 Elder Gulch Road, in East Highlands, California. The Secretary announced that a majority of the stock of the Company, in excess of the required 360~ shares, was represented by persons present and by proxies held by them. A later check indicated that 13 persons present, holding 571 shares, and deposited proxies, representing 4,959 shares, accounted for a total representation of 5,530 shares. (Fractional shares excluded). A quorum being noted, the meeting was declared open for business by President Paul R. Jennings, presiding as Chairman. It was moved by Henry E. Guerth and seconded by Jene S. H~nilton that the ~n~tes of the last Annual Stockholders ~eeting, held ~'~arch 25, 1966, be dispensed with. THE ~OTION C~RRI£D. The Financial Statement for the Fiscal Year Ending January 31, 1967, as prepared by Eadie & Payne, was presented and explained by Chairman Jennings. On motion of Harold G. Rickert, seconded by Jene S. Hamilton, the Financial Report for the Year Ending January 31, 1967, was accepted and the firm of Eadie and Payne was authorized to audit the Company books and to prepare the Financial Reports at the close of the Year Ending January 31, 1968. THE ~OTION CARRIED. The Secretary-Zanjero, John R. Poppett, reported on minor repairs and cleaning of the Company canal. In comparing water conditions, he stated that the water level of Bear Valley lake now stood at 57'10'', with 35,940 acre feet of water in storage; as against 51~01~, with 23,000 acre feet in storage on March 25, 1966. He also noted that the River flow on ~ch 27 was 3,200 inches as compared to 2,400 inches on ~arch 23, 1966. President Jennings, noting that the Company had completed its 82nd Year of operation, gave a very interesting history of water rights, the building of the canals and the formation and conso~datmon of the companies leading up to the present North Fork Water Company. He also pointed out the cooperation and close harmony that has existed between the North Fork Water Company and the Bear Valley ~tual Water Company in solving their common problems throughout the years. ELECTION OF DIRECTOHS The chairman announced t~at the meeting was open for n~ninations for Directors for the ensuing year. Elizabeth ~.i. Kiel no~minated the present Directors, namely, Paul R. Jennings, Henry E. Guerth, Jene $. Hamilton, Arnold L. Wright, Walter R. Laputz, Harold G. Rickert and J~nes C. ~ullins; and moved that the nominations be closed and that the Secretary cast the ballot for their election. The motion was seconded by Robert E. Poppett, cast ~,~30 votes each for Paul R. Jennings, Henry E. Guerth, Jene S. Hamilton, Arnold L. Wright, Walter H. Laputz~ Harold G. Rickert and James C. ~llins.
