O~ 3Oth, a meetin; was h~ld in his office wi~h ~nald Anderson, ~esident of
Va~ey ~mtual ~'~ater ~ompany and awailable me ~bers of the North Fork Water
Company. (In at~ndanc~ were Paul R. Je~in~s, Henry E. G~rth, ~nold L. Wright,
Harold G. ~ckert, C~l R. ~d~rson Paul Js~in~s, Or. ~d Jo~ R. l~op~tt).
He ~tated that it wa~ the opinion of tho~e pr~nt ghat ~x~rt adwice should b~
obtained reg~din~ repaJ~ of th~ tull. The ~rm of A. A. ~thews, Inc.,
nstructiom Emzimeerinz, wa~ contacted. ~th~ P. Cha~e, Vice-~e~id~mt of the
F~m, and ~. ~ch~d F. Coon, ~ologimt, inm~c~d the tunnel on July ~th.

was so extensiws, ~ ~ho~d ~mpor~ily by-palm the collapsed ~ection ~til it
co~d ~ properly repaired.
Jennings repor~d that two l~ inch plastic pi~ had been installed,
by t~iag the wa~r out t~ou~n the ~mel adit~ by-passing the collapsed section,
d back into the tu~el so~ 6OO feet west. He pre~ented copies of an ex~nsiwe
reporg of the condition of the colapsed section of the tunnel and the proposed
method of rep~r, as prepared by A. A. ~thews, ~c.
T~ ~cr~t~y reported ghat th~ plastic pipe~ wo~d not c~ry s~ficient
water to maintain deliwery at a full head, 2.50 inc~s p~r sha~ om North Fork
and 1.O0 inc~ per sh~ on ~ Valley, and that additiomal water wa~ being obtained
by p~cha~e of well water fro~a East Hi~ands ~ra~e Co~pany~ from the Lake of
the ~a~ge Co~pa~-, ~hich v. as ~t no charge, and fro~ City ~Teek. He f~thcr sta~ed
that Horace i~nckley~ of ~ Valley i~utaal Water Gompany was ~ a~eemenb, of
mainta~in~ deliwery ab thru pr~wious f~l hmadm ~ud that th~ corot of wa~r
p~cha~ed wo~d be split ewenly ~tw~n th~ two Co~ani~s.

rson that the wa~r deliwery be kept at a f~l head ~d that well water
be p~chased ~om the East High,lands ~an~ Company at a price of 705 per inch.

Th~ ~c~ta~ almo reported that he had paid th~ bill of $~70.00 for ~adin~
amd lewelin~ the SawaCe Ranches &rove to repa~ the dama~m caused by the flow
of wa~r out of the collapsed bu~mel, but that the repair and repl~ceme~t of the
Sawage k~owe pipe-lim~s, which w~re washed ou~, had not b~en compl~d.

After discussion, it was mowed by Arnold L. Wri.~ht and seconded
by Harold G. Rickert that the Secretary be aut~orize~/~o bills in an
amount up to $2,500.00 for the repair of dmua£es to the Savage Ranches
property.

After discussion, it was moved by James C. ~llins ~nd seconded by
Arnold L. WriEht that the followin~ .Resolution be adopted:
RESOLVED: that, the North Fork Water Company, bein~ anxious to obtain
alternate bid~ on repair of ~Sava~e~' Tunnel, or by-passin~ the tunnel
with steel or coacrete pipe, does hereby urge and request that Horace
Hinckley, of Bear Valley i~utual ~ater Company, such bids or estimates
by September 1st, for presentation to the two Companies.
