HomeMy WebLinkAboutMinutes - North Fork Water Company - 06/12/1982NORTH FORK WATER COMPANY BOARD MEETING JUNE 12, 1982 A meeting of the Board of Directors of the North Fork Water Company was held on June 2, 1982 at 7:00 p.m. at the office of the East San Bernardino County Water District. PRESENT: Arnold L. Wright Elizabeth Kiel Joseph A. Rowe Laird Roddick Victor Ray Larry Rowe, ESBCWD Bonnie Eastwood, Secretary ABSENT: Dennis L. Johnson The minutes of the annual meeting were deferred until the next meeting. A letter had been received from San Bernardino Valley Municipal Water District requesting a letter of approval for installation of a 42" pipeline across North Fork property. The SARC pipeline was discussed in some detail. It was noted that San Bernardino Valley Water Conservation District possibly has an easement and water spreading rights on the property. The letter in- dicated that San Bernardino Valley Municipal Water District would request a formal easement for the pipeline after it had been completed, however, it was felt an easement with stipulated conditions should be drawn up ~ prior to the pipeline being constructed on the property. It was also felt that the pipeline should be run parallel with North Fork's west property line, rather than through the middle of the property. It was determined the Board would instruct Larry Rowe and Joe Rowe to meet with Steve Stockton of San Bernardino Valley Municipal Water District and Bill Hiltgen of San Bernardino Valley Water Conservation District and determine specifically what they desire as far as an easement across the property is concerned. A report would then be made to the Board with a definite proposal. The 1961 Board Minutes will be reviewed to determine if an easement was given to the Conservation District. M/S/C (Roddick/Kiel) that the President direct staff to meet with San Bernardino Valley Municipal Water District staff members and Bill Hiltgen for the purpose of bringing back to the Board specifications of the District's proposed easement; that the Board will meet again when this information is available. Larry Rowe and Joe Rowe will pursue the matter. A brief discussion was held relative to the proposed realignment of Baseline Avenue by East Highlands Ranch. The present proposal is for leaving the North Fork ditch open through the proposed housing development. There being no further business the meeting was adjourned at 8:10 p.m. Bonnie Eastwood, Secretary
