ANNUAL MEETING OF THE STOCKHOLDERS
April 13, 1977
The annual meeting of the stockholders of the North Fork Water Company
was held April 13, 1977, at 7:00 p.m. at the office of the East San
Bernardino County Water District, 1155 Del Rosa Avenue, San Bernardino,
California.

The Secretary announced that a majority of the stock of the Company
in excess of the required 3,601 shares was represented by 3,694.98
shares by proxy and in person.
The Minutes of the Regular Stockholders Meeting of April 30, 1976
were read by President Wright. It was moved by Director Rowe and
seconded by Director Johnson that the Minutes be approved.
President Wright discussed the financial report which had not been
completed by Eadie & Payne. It was pointed out that this meeting
was slightly before the income tax deadline and Eadie & Payne would
have had the report at the April 30th meeting. Director Kiel stated
she would like to have the report earlier and in accordance with
the by-laws she would like to see the audit report by the first Sat-
urday in March at 9:30 a.m., which is the time for the annual meeting
in accordance with the by-laws.
After further discussion, Director Johnson recommended that copies
of the financial report be sent out to all the directors and those
present this evening. Should anything in the report warrant there
would be an additional meeting.
President Wright reported that the ditch was being well maintained
by Fred Stafford, that he had cleaned the ditch and it was clear of
weeds.
President Wright also reported that the North Fork Water Company had
joined the Santa Ana Mill Creek exchange on August 4, 1976 and he

felt that North Fork was well represented in that two of their
Directors were voting members of the Exchange.

The sale of North Fork/No. 4 and the 10,000 feet of steel pipe
from that well to the North Fork ditch was explained to the share-
holders. The point being that neither facility had been used for ten
years and that it was to the mutual benefit of the North Fork Water
Company and the East San Bernardino County Water District to use the
facilities with the potential of some financial return to the North
Fork Water Company.
President Wright reviewed the agreement on the sale of Big Bear Lake
and stated that the matter had been handled by Attorney Denslow Green
to assure the continued recognition of North Fork Water Company rights.
Approval of the actions by the North Fork Board in the past year was
moved by Mrs. Beattie and seconded by Director Johnson. The motion
passed unanimously.
President Wright informed the stockholders that the claim against the
San Bernardino Valley Municipal Water District had been settled for
850. As of this time, the money had not been received.
Nominations for Directors of the North Fork Water Company were made
by Mrs. Wright and seconded by Director Johnson. They were as follows:
Arnold Wright, Mrs. Elizabeth Kiel, Joseph A. Rowe, Stuart M. George,
Laird Roddick, Dennis Johnson, Frank Jacinto and Harold M. Fones as
Secretary-Treasurer.
It was moved by Mrs. Wright and seconded by Director Johnson to cast
a unanimous ballot for this slate of Directors and Officers.
There being no further business, the meeting adjourned at 7:33 p.m.
