MINUTES Upon indication that each Board member present had read the minutes of the August 8, 1961 meeting, and there were no additions or corrections, the Chairman of the Day declared the minutes approved as written. FINANCIAL REPORT The Chairman of the day called upon Auditor-Treasurer, BragG, for his presentation of the Sewer and Water financial report for the month of 3uly, 1961. The report also Gave some comparative figures from the previous year. The report was favorable. RESOLUTION NO. 379 Resolution No. 379 AcceptinG Grant of Easement from Elmer ACCE]~ING GRANT OF Wilsey and Grace D. Wilsey, Date Street West from Plant 29, EASF~ENT - WILSEY the Date Street Reservoir, was presented. MOTION Upon motion by Director Littleton, duly seconded by Director Wall, and carried unanimously, Resolution No. 379, Grant of Easement from Grace D. Wilsey and Elmer Wilsey, was adopted and order made. RESOLUTION NO. 380 Resolution No. 380 authorizin~ Grant of Easement to the AUTHORIZING GRANT City of San Bernardino for street and highway purposes at OF EASemENT TO Plant No. 25 was presented for consideration and discussion. Authorizing Grant of Easement to the City of San Bernardino for street and highway purpose at Plant 26, was adopted and MOl"ION order made. RESOLUTION NO. 381 Resolution No. 381 Accepting "Dedication of Sewers" in ACCEPTING DEDICATION Tract 6344 was presented. OF SEWERS IN TRACT 6344. Upon motion by Director Wall, duly seconded by Director Littleton and carried unanimously, Resolution No. 381 MOTION Accepting Dedication of Sewers in Tract 6344 was adopted and order made. LETTER - DEPART- The Chairman of the day called for the reading of a letter MENT OF PUBLIC HEALTH from the State of California Department of Public Health, REGARDING FLUORIDE dated August 8, 1961 con~uending the District's action to correct the high fluoride problem in some of the wells as soon as possible. No action required. LETTER - L.W. The Chairman of the day called for the reading of a letter BEEBE OF 7572 DEL from Mrs. L. W. For the District to waive these charges, it would be necessary to either amend the sewer ordinance providing that (1) unoccupied dwellings do not pay charges, even though connected, or (2) cause the sewer to be disconnected, or (2) cause the sewer to be disconnected." ~"~ To disconnect and reconnect the sewer would cost $85.03. UNEMPLOYMENT & The Chairman stated a State representative of the DISABILITY Department of Employment would be at the District office INSUP3U~E Wednesday morning, August 25 at 9:30 a.m. to explain the unemployment and disability insurance program as it would be available to this District for its employees. Directors were asked to be present if possible. ADJCURNMENT There being no further business, the Chairman declared the meeting a~ ourned at 9:35 p.m. Harold G.
