ORDINANCE NO. 78
AN ORDINANCE ALTERING BOUNDARIES OF
EAST SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY WATER DISTRICT
ANNEXATION NO. 1958-5
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Directors of the East San Bernar-
dino CO1.mty Water District, San Bernardino County, California, as
follows:
1.
That a petition, duly acknowledged, and signed by all of
the holders of title, or evidence of title, to all of the acreage of
the land described therein according to the last equalized assessment
roll of the County of San Bernardino, together with a particular
description of the land proposed to be annexed, was filed with the
Secretary of said District on the ~ day of September

which petition prayed that said lands be added to the District in
accordance with the provisions of the County water District Act.

That the Secretary of said District duly set a date for the
hearing of said petition and caused to be published in the
East Valley Times
, a newspaper printed and pub-
lished in the County of San Bernardino, there being no newspaper
printed and published in the District, a notice stating the purpose
of the petition, describing the lands to be added and notifying all
persons. interested of the hearing thereon to be held on Monday,
October 13, 1958 at the hour of 2:00 o'clock P.M., at the
regular' meeting place of the Board of Directors of said District,
7337 DEll Rosa Avenue, San Bernardino, California, the affidavit of
which :publication has been presented to and is on file with this
Board, and that said petition and said notice so published are in
the fo1:m required by said Act.

That all acts and conditions and things required by law to
be donl~ precedent to the hearing of said petition by this Board have
been w)ne and have been performed in regular and in due form and in
strict compliance with the provisions of the law authorizing the
presentation of said petition.

That at ti1e time and place fixed in said notice this Board
proceeded to hear said petition, and all written objections thereto,
no such objections were received, and upon the hearing of said peti-
tion, and after a full investigation and examination, this Board has
found and declared and doés h~reby find and declare, that said peti-
tion complies with the requirements of the County Water District Act,
and this Board does hereby find and declare the addition to the Dis-
trict of the lands proposed to be added as authorized by said Act
will be for the best interest of the District, and of the lands to
be added.
5.
That the boundaries of the East San Bernardino County water
District shall be, and they are hereby altered by adding thereto the
hereinafter described territory, which territory is hereby annexed to
said Dis'trict, and the boundaries of which territory so annexed are
situate :Ln the County of San Bernardino, State of California, and are
more par1:icularly described in Exhibit "Au hereto attached and by
referenc(~ incorporated herein.
6.
This Ordinance shall be posted in three public places within
the DistJ~ict.
