of Montclai~ Sewer Cons:tucSon Company at
· - $17,795.20, subject to the approval of
Legal Counsel.

CRANSTO~ Murphy and Senator Cranston, date~ September 23,
1969 and October 4, 1969, thanking the District
for their interest in the Bill regarding
Opposition to R~du=t~on of Tax-Fxempt Status
of Sta~e and Local Bombs., Mr. Pdckert stated
~hat the m~ast, re was defeated before the Senate.

C.L. MC LAUGHLIN CO. A l~t~er from C. L. Mc Laughlin was read to
EXTENSION OF TIM~ the Directors, regarding his request for an
JOB ~'~717 extension of time on Contract Job ~-717,
Tract 8004, installation of a l~-inch water
main within Highland:Avenue, due to additional
work in preparing Job site for construction.
Staff had reviewed this reques= for an extension
of time, stating Contractor Mc Laughlin has
done a good job, and was not at all out of line
because of major rock problems in that area and
the delay caused by the relocation of the water
..... ma~n lnHlghland Avenue (State ~ighway
and therefore rec~eaended th~s request be
granted.
.Upon mo~ion by Director Disch, duly seconded
by Director ~';all and carried unanimously,
Contractor Mc Laughlin was granted the three-
day extension on Contract for Job ~;-717 to
Tract 8004.
LAFC NO. 813 A letter received from the Local Agency Formation
Cc~mis~ion was presented for information 9urposes
only on_annexation to ~he City of San Bernardino,
North.of Highland and east of Denair Avenue on
LAFC No. 813. The Engineering Department had
.~repared a plat of the area to discuss with
the Board ~mbers.
L~"C LETTERS A list of letters from the Local Agency
NO. 772, 773, AND Formation Commission were read and sm~marized
685A_ for infor~ation only on LAFC Numbers 7?2, 773
and 6SLA~ appr~ving annexation to County
Service Area for lighting. No. 68§A action
was to reaffirm previous LAFC action on an
appI!cation for detachment in South San
Bernardino County Water District to the City
of San Bernardinc.
ROBERT HANCOCK - A le~er was read to the Directors dmted
REQUESTING A SE~ER September 30, 1969, from Robert W. ~ancoek
LINE - TOP OF asking the poss~bility of getting a sewer
PERRIS HILL in the area cf }~nte Vista Drive that is
located en top of Perris Hill. !4r. Rancock
had included a map of ~he area for the proposed
sewer line. General Manager Rickert pointed
out that a previous study had been made for
' ' Mr. Spoor requesting a line in the same area
and explained that an installation of this
type would create extensive work and was not
economically feasible to Mr. Hancock Or the
District. Considerable discussion ensued,
stating the facts in this area on necessary
easements~ the height of the hill and the
major factor being nearly solid rock terrain.
