service. Auditor Hendricks stated that the
property is in escrow, and that the fine1
uncollected amount of water and sewer ~harges
presented to escrow should soon clear and

CORRESPONDENCE - to approve the minutes as sub~itted.
AB 325, CONFLICT OF The General Manager presented letters f~om IDA,
INTEREST LAW dated March 27 and from Attorney Robert Farts11,
CANCELLED dated April 1~ 1970~ covering the Conflict
of Interest Law° Mr. Farre11 stated the Law
was declared unconstitutional by the California
Supreme Court and was no longer in effect,
thus alleviating the necessity ~o file state-
ments on Financial Disclosure by ~oard Members.
No further action necessary or taken.

MOTION . Upon motion by Diractor Stallwood, duly seconded
by Director Diach and carried by the'following
roll call vote, Staff and Attorney Farrell are
instructed to draft an Ordinance raising District
sewer rates to reflect the City of San Bernardino
sewer service charge increase on August 1, 1969.,
Ordinance to be prepared and presented at a
later Board Meeting for approval and to become
effective July 1, 1970.

CASADA'S District employee~ Bill Casada was in the
ILLNESS St. Bernardine's Hospital fro~ a heart
attack.
